My girlfriends and I are planning a trip to Jamaica. Where's the best place to stay for single, 25+ women?

If you have any details about best places in Jamaica for single women over 25, who just want to go and have an awesome time that would be great! I've already been to Montego Bay and it was pretty fun but we were thinking maybe Negril or Ocho Rios this time. Thanks!!

You can have awesome time getting the word of God in Church.

I started off in Montego Bay and found it too urbanized. We rented a jeep and went to the other side of the Island, landing in Negril and it was so much better! The Negril Beach Club is good. I also believe Hedonism II is there, if you are into that sort of thing. The beaches at Negril feel more private and special. I definately recommend Negril.

The water falls at Ochos Rios are wonderful but I'm not sure if they have a beach front area.

One other piece of advice....

Since you've been there before, you know how the locals SWARM all over you, trying to sell you something or play tour guide for a fee (and of course, don't be so stupid as to pick up one of these guys and trust them, you know that.) But instead of "bracing up" and showing tension when these people get in your face, get as soon as you can into "island mode" which is to be totally relaxed, not anxious to buy anything, not reacting when they try to get personal with you...act like a local native and you don't even have to talk to them or engage them if a stranger tries to draw you into a conversation. Be pleasant, have a nice expression on your face, but you don't have to get into a conversation with everyone who approaches you and they do try to get personal with you, asking your name and all they can find out how to hook you into buying their stuff or getting you to take pity on how poor they are. We found that when we just totally relaxed and moved slowly, everything around us relaxed and we actually started to enjoy ourselves instead of feeling totally hassled.

Rent a villa on the cliff side of Negril. The cliff side is a little more layed back then the party beach side but is a great place. You still have the party scene close by but get to get away from the guys swarming all over you. Of course, if you want the guys swarming all over you, Hedo's the place to go!!! What do you want to do? If it's party, Negril's the place. If it's seeing Jamaicamon, you'd be better off with a central location someplace between MoBay and Ochi (i.e. Discovery Bay). While it get's no publicity, Port Antonio is a great place just to relax and do nothing. Where ever, enjoy. Wish I was still there, then all you women could come over to my place (provided the wife's gone). :-).
