if he's traveling for the USto PR, he just need a photo ID, drivers license from any state in the US. but if he's traveling from another international foreign country, then he needs visa and permits.

go to USCIS' website and check it out .....they should be able to answer that in the FAQ section......depends on if he has that "stamp" in the passport that shows he is LEGAL & just waiting......you usually have a window to travel & work....just to make sure check the site before traveling!

NO. If you are flying from the continental US you do NOT need a passport, just need some form of ID. I fly there often and I always use my drivers license.
