He can buy a EZ mobile from Cable and Wireless, Jamaica. He will pay 999 Jamaican dollars a month and he will be able to call you whenever and talk for however long he wants to. The phone can also be used to make local calls, provided he has other prepaid credit on it. megaphone is good too but more times than not their reception is poor... you will be hardly capable of hearing him and sometimes the calls take forevers worth of redialing before they finally connect...

This is the best thing to do, let your husband buy a Mega phone, cost is ruffly $1700 ja and he talk for the entire month then after that he pays $1000 a month and you talk all month. I was in Jamaica for two weeks vacation this year and it the best thing I ever did cause my vacation last year I spend about $350us on phone cards alone calling the US.

Phone cards are a great choice. But the best decision you and your husband can make is for your husband to get Cable & Wireless NetSpeak System. It's a VoIP (voice over IP) setup that allows him to pay 1 regular money per month to make calls to the US and you can call him on the number he gets from them which would be just like you were calling a Florida number. It's relatively cheap and very easy to use.

Easiest way is to buy an international phone card. It is still a rip off, but it is easy. I pay around $5 U.S. and can talk for about 25 minutes. That's cell phone to cell phone...........I'm still looking for the best international phone card myself......

Probably a prepaid cell phone. Or you can use calling cards. He can call you to your house from a pay phone. Those are the cheapest things to do.
