I used to make zwill - Yuh take a cown (Crown) cork and flatten it. Then bore to small holes in the center and pass a thread through them. Thigh the ends together and roll it around so when you pull the cork spin and now yuh could have zwill fight.

What bout making toy car with matchbox, rubberband, and buttons.

hottawarrior - win lose or draw	wait yuh feel is yuh alone coulda make toys, i had zwill, ah make one just last year to show one ah meh younger cousins how to make it lol. ah used to make kites by d grop. so meh mother used to cuss, cause ah taking she good sewing thread to fly kite. but ah understand what petra say, cause when the kite ent want to fly, is pressure. ah used to make paper plane and thing...dat didnt fly neither! ah starting to see ah disturbing pattern. slingshot with the wire from under the bed lol, God meh grandmother used to cut we backside for dat. and guns from wooden clothes pins hehehehe. PS. always make sure is d neighbour clothes pins u using. meh grandpa used to make top and real show off how d ones he make does spin longer than d ones yuh buy from the store. and of course, d cricket bat from ole wood. ------------------------------ ah wasnt going to mention flying jep eh, but since ily mention it... and somebody did brave enough to tell me that is cruelty to dumb animals. just because we used to pull out the sting outta d jep bamsee. ah mean come on, if yuh didnt do that the jep woulda sting we, geez. and ah forget d bull grass oui.lol

Gibbsy girl	LOL TS, yuh bad, yuh bad!!! Ah tink ah tell allyuh dis before but you remember those big colorful plastic basins dat the older women used to use to make bread and cakes and so? The ones they used to buy by Kirpalani's nuh. Well, In our infinite wisdom my cousins, my sister and I decide to turn one of those upside down, bore two holes in the bottom, thread some twine thru and hang it from the guava tree to make swing. Meh sister was the first to go. She push off bawling weeeeeeee, in two twos de twine buss way and she fall down BRAPPS square on she bamsee. Needless to say, she was the first and last one to try it. This wasn't a toy per se but we used to like to catch batchack, put them on leaves and race them down the canal. We used to do that for hours, betting sweetie or jub jub on yuh fav batchack. Talk bout fun!! ------------------------ Pulling out jep bamsee!!!!! LOL LOL I remember dat!!! Hear nuh man, childhood in Trinidad eh play it was sweet nuh!!! ilyena	ALRIGHT... lemme tell yuh eh... I used to love when it rained going downstairs and using digging the dirt to make mud and then when the mud firm enough we used to make a man... a woman.... the man on de bull cart... a bull... all kinda tings we used tuh make wid de mud and ting boy. AH used tuh make zwill an play wid it too bu it also had batimamzelle or zingybat dat used to come 'round when it raining too... we used tuh tie de tail wid a piece ah thread an leh dem fly how far... andn if yuh pull de tail too hard de bottom used tuh break off. AND den we used tuh break bull grass and use it as bullet tuh play gun shooting. Meh brodda dem used to cut a piece ah wood in de shape of a gun an put ah clothes clip on top it tuh make rubberband gun AN yuh see dem palm tree an dem?? Wen de branch break off... we used tuh take dem an' walk with it to de top ah de hill and siddong ans skate straight tuh de bottom Dat cause me to get plenty holy panties an ah get plenty lix fuh rippin up meh clothes so

♥Casey♥	well.. i used to play marble pitch with d boys.. i remember we used to trade one another marbles.... dat was good.. and goin fishin dong by the river and wen ur come back home ur was wet from head to toe.... boy... those days were fun!....on saturday if we didn't have any thin to do we used to make kites and fly them on sunday after lunch...... and after school on week days we used to play top dat was good.. on d summer hoildays we used to have marble and top tornaments once in a blue moon i won but i enjoyed my self even wen i lost....

curious!	I remember making out of young bamboo a pop gun - and the amunition - pomerac (very young and can't be eaten - the small green thingy) I also remeber taking a kind of coco something fruit (small and hard on the outside and soft on the inside) it had three holes on the side and we hand to dig out the fruit to make a whislte - geez it was hard work!! Jumbie beads - we used to pick and bore holes for making chains and bracelets (which ah see deh selling high high now) Used wire - the fine and colourful type - we made rings, chains, all kinds of stuff

Petra M	Well....I was a little tomboy. I had zwills, kites, slingshots...just to name a few. Unfortunately, I was also a very hasty little girl and ah mash up real kite when dey get meh damn vex and refuse to fly. My father once caught me kicking one of my kites.....De man watch meh like I was losin' meh mind, oui. lol. I had a crazy childhood....pelting all de boys wit' green mango because dey get me vex and climbing trees. ---------- cyar cyar cyar, TS! I admit, I'm a little crazy but from what I see on Yahoo! Answers, Frigg take de cake and de cakestand too. lol. (And ah mean dat in a good way.)

lez	yuh remember tyin zwill on yuh kite tail to cut odder people kite? My son come home from school wit one d odder day, dey calling it zoom zoom now. kill he ded, i doh no nutten.

grasshopper	yuh kno when yuh take a piece of paper and fold it into about 16 triangles and yuh go around asking yuh frenz to give yuh a number and yuh spell out the number while opening and closing the paper.then when yuh fren choose like a colour or something on one of the triangles yuh unfold it to read what below it which was something like, "u smell like a fart?" i aint kno if allyuh kno that one but i used to do that.my niece came home the other day and tort she was showing me sumting new but we just cant remember how to make it!! then it was anything yuh cudda make with copybook page,doh mind yuh mother buy yuh a dozen from R.I.K or Unique Book Stores,fuh some reason yuh had one that was meant for "Scrap." Scrap was a subject?lol....but yuh used to tear all yuh pages outta dat one cuz if yuh tear one from the odders like yuh grammar book miss wudda find out ahhhh....how to be young and foolish again...the only reason miss used to find out was bcuz we tear out sooo much that the book was too damn thin to do work in....lol

Re$h	i used to play spit ball!! hah!! daz when yuh put piece ah paper in yuh mouth and put spit all over it then shot it through a straw!! dat was good.. i like sling shot, real cry with some ah dem sting though!! and when we go to school we uses to put the teacher chalk dust on the floor and "skate" with we socks on the terazzo!! ah used to fall plenty too... hmm..
