Need personal driver?

In need of a personal driver to take 2 persons from Kingston, Jamaica to Ocho Rios for 3 days and 2 nights, and back again would be making 1 or 2 short stops does anyone have an idea of where or which website I could go to, to get that and for how much do you think it would cost?

Give us your email address or send me an email by clicking on my profile and following the links. I can give you the name and number of a reputable gentleman who can either do it himself or arrange for one of his drivers. They are JUTA drivers (the main official Taxi Association for those who take tourists around) and quite good at what they do. But I don't know if he wants me putting his name and number on the internet just like that. Good luck!

Sorry......there is no one site with all that info. As I said before it will depend on the company. You can always negotiate your price based on your activities. I gave you an average cost before. These are popular taxi companies in no particular order. You can call & negotiate on the phone to get a feel of the prices. Bargain hard. Your accent may send the prices up! They are:

JUTA.........(876)927-4534
Express..............923-7730
Apollo.................920-5433
Candy Cab........978-8090
On Time.............926-3866
Mortec................924-4833
Dignitary............978-CABS
Blu diamond......929-TAXI
El Shaddai........969-7633
Central...............926-8470
Unique.............. 960-5096

Hope that helps. Int Air Link & Air J go to Mobay for roughly US$65 plus taxes BUT you have to drive to Ocho Rios after. Air Link is comp but you will have to pay with Air J.

great question! I wish we knew more before we got there on that...we did have a friend who rented us the loan of his car while there and our other friend [who lives there] drove us where we wanted to go ...so I am thinking perhaps you might find a local who might also be willing to be a driver as well...plan on buying his meals though we forgot about that.....and gas up the car..next time we will plan better..although we were happy to have helped out one family by doing so.....renting their family car for a week...............
