I did my shopping early last year - and it helped tremendously, of course its a trini thing to be caught in the mad rush of christmas - but you don't buy great gifts - you buy what yuh get!

Last year I waited for sales and so on and bought a few gifts every month end - the trick though is to buy items that are useful and appropiate regardless of whats in or whats out, so I bought books, educational toys, basic men shirts or tees and basic ladies camisoles and tops, stationary, etc

Boy! imagine is April aready, next thing you know is August and you have to buy school books and then Christmas.

boy, i does be buying whole year and still find myself short for christmas. but then i discover that that is because it have birthdays, mothers day, fathers day and sundry other 'days' that people does expect presents from you for.

I tell everybody that i only buying gifts for kids under 12...of course that still leaves about 10 people to buy things for. and meh grandfather..he's 85 so he does get he presents. lol
