No that's not true. Perhaps a FEW hate each other but on a whole Jamaicans and trinis don't hate each other.

I do hear things as well..mainly trinis talking about jamaicans because they don't like there attitude and the way we dress/look or what not. And it all boils down to WHO you meet. Some people love to generalize a WHOLE culture by One or Two people they meet. That's the problem that people have. They think all of them are like that!

But no, When I see few trinis talk **** about Jamaicans I see 10X more supporting Jamaicans.

But in Jamaica, I don't really hear nothing about any island but jamaica..so I never really heard jamaicans say anything.
about anyone..We like pretty much everyone..and i think generally everyone likes us..

I think my trini friend said that some Jamaicans are saying they can dance better than trinis! I think that's an argument between the women tho....but I don't know how that argument occured.

We love one another..we have very few disagreements...I have trini friends too and we don't have any problems. Our culture has nothing to do with our friendship!

But I did hear that Bahamians don't like jamaicans..but I don't know how true that it..

Hey, Im a Trini and I must say that I LOVE JAMAICANS.I mean I was teribbly shocked at first at Jamaicans approach to things,but I think the shock came more from the difference in dealing with situations.However, I got to realize that it is your culture and way of life and I learned to appreciate it.I even came to like rice and peas or peas and rice[I can never get it correct.]

Today I took some of my Jamaican friends to the park here in Trinidad and we had lots of fun.

Hidden war?First time I heard bout that.And as bombastic said Trinis are generally to laid back to hold a grudge.

Well all the other islands have always been jealous of Jamaicans because they say they are cocky, and although Trinidad has oil, Jamaicans seem to live better.

i am jamaican and almost all the trinis i have met personally said that they and their fellow trinis said they do not like jamaicans. the trini girls are intimidated by our Jamaican girls and the men are always "Taking" away their girls. they are clearly intimidated by our beautiful jamaican girls (like meâ™¥) they are jealous of our culture and angry that their soca music has not and will never reach on an international scale like our dancehall and reggae music.we are the best island in the caribbean!!! and the say that we are nuff, just bcuz we do apply ourselves and come first in everything !! step up to our game other caribbean people !!!

There is some rivalry but I think we should not make it worse than it is. Many of the people from other islands are jealous or resentful of Jamaicans because we always seem to dominate everything. Jamaicans are enterprising, aggressive and daring and some people see that as offensive. Still, those are the very traits that make so many Jamaicans succeed when others fail. Overall, I think Trinis like Jamaicans even if they don't always appreciate our approach to things. I have no problem with Trinis because I understand the root of their resentment sometimes. Lawd, they know how to party and live it up, so you know they stay too busy having fun to hold grudges. Have some souse and rum punch on me!!!

I have alot of Trini friend and they love visiting Jamaica and I love visiting Trinidad. People who tend to diss each culture are usual people who have never taken the time to visit the other country and just hates particular people from that culture and never took the time to embrace the differences.

Caribbean people need to stop this crap and just feel the love
