On sunday, i broke my foot, cant put it on floor, going carribean saturday with my 14yr old daughter ?
i cant put my foot on the floor, tomorrow i go to the fracture clinic and they'll put a different caste on it, i'm not sure what kind of caste, i dont know what to do about still going on holiday, we were going the carribean for xmas and new year. if i dont go does anybody know how long it takes for insurance to refund the holiday? Any advice would be great
Check with your travel insurance company at once. They will have a clause which states that any medical condition known about prior to you going has to be reported to them or any treatment needed will not be covered. They are the best ones to advise you on all your questions, honestly.
If they advise that you go, which may be cheaper for them than refunding your holiday, they will agree cover with you.
It may take up to six weeks to get money back if your doctor advises you cancel.

when you get your new cast ask them to split it for flying. once it's set they can saw down both sides and then they bandage it back up.

goooo.. you are going to miss the best DR is one of the best vacation country, and you should see how they decorate over there for the holidays you'll be shock i thought they decorated here better in NY but DR is amazing everywhere..

Unlucky, however dont let this put you off going away! Just so you know though, the airline will need to know how old the cast is - it needs to be 24 hours old in order for you to get on the flight. So try and get some form of note from the hospital in order to verify this to the crew. Im a flight attendant and to be honest Ive never asked anyone with a cast on about its age, but some crew may ask. Have a nice holiday!

well so you did purchase vacation insurance? if so, you probably should avoid going. who wants to go to the Caribbean when you cant go swimming? that's like the only thing that's worth doing there.
