I'm Jamaican born, i do not know the drinking age but i doubt it is 25. They are not strict with ID so whatever the dring age is as long as you don't like like a preteen you should be fine.

The “official” drinking age in Jamaica is 18 years old. Most establishments, however, will not ask for proof of age before serving alcoholic beverages. Drink responsibly and keep hydrated by drinking lots of water and non-alcoholic beverages and always pace yourself as the hot sun will take its toll. Remember to eat a hearty meal before you go out drinking as the presence of food in your stomach will help increase your alcohol tolerance. Do not Drink and Drive while under the influence of alcohol. You should also be very careful swimming after the consumption of alcohol. Stay in shallow water and in sight of your friends.

hmmm 18 is the age for drinking but 16 is the age of concent... bummer u can have sex but no alchol!!
The reality is... you can drink at any age. No one stops you! IDs are not needed for clubs etc. you can buy in the stores etc. this is not an enforced rule.
One thing that is curious... u hardly ever see drunk people...expecially at parties.... i think its all the vigarous grind dancing!!

oh my god they said that!!!??? well the legal age is 18 but who gives a damn, i started at 11, i don't drink often just occasionally. so whoever said that it was 25 they are talking trash!!!??? (i know cause i was born and raised there)
