Our honeymoon: Key West or Naples?

We are going on our honeymoon in mid July to Florida (I know, it will be hot) and we just can't decide between Naples or Key West...
so far I've realized that Naples have great beaches but not so much to do and Key West has plenty of thinks to do but the beaches aren't that good.... hummm tough decision
note: we love the beach and water sports (not interested on wildlife boat trips or things like that)
thank you so much for your help!!!

If those are your two considerations and your interests, then choose Key West. Its a wonderful quirky town, with lots to see and do. It will be quieter in the summer, and not quite as crowded with tourists. The beaches here are quite adequate and offer a variety of water sports. I don't think you will find Naples nearly as interesting, and definitely not as much fun, as Key West.

KEY west! my girlfiends cousin is the mayor there and he's gotten that place in good shape! Bias mabey...but I have so much fun there!!! The nightlife rocks! But you'd be better of going to St. Augistine, there's lots to do there just like Key west, and there are lots of good beaches.

Capt. CB; seguidor de Cristo!
Your choice but for me it is the Keys.

go to key west for your honeymoon. Later go to naples for a vacation

Honey
Key west. Nothing better than being as far as possible away from everything but not having to use a passport. Also there are parts of the virgin islands that you can visit passport free. Just a thought. But there is flying....so key west.

coloradosand
Must be Naples, although I've never been. Key West is filthy.

As stated before, you will be on your honeymoon. Do you really need much to do? Don't forget the sunscreen!!!

I also agree that Italy is the best. Venice is my favorite place, cheap to stay there, gold is cheap, lots to do and a ride on the water is the most romantic thing I've ever done!

Ri
hmmm not naples maybe not key west but one of the keys their nice

I live in Key west and there is lots to do.
The best beach here is beautiful but it coasts money to get on.
There is also a beach you can go to with water skis and jet skis.
there are many tourists spots and great hotels.

Naples however does have many beaches and there are probably more water sports available.

I recommend looking at brochures to chose what is best for you.

Happy honeymooning!

naples or south beach.
i live in miami and have been to key west alot it basically alot pf trees and things on the way there it looks like a deserteed jungle and key west and EXTREMLY crowded and has nothing to do. the hotels are all cheap and ugly.

my parents went to naples on there honeymoon and they LOVED it.

Naples will have water sports, beaches, nice restaurants, stuff like that, and it will be much cheaper than Key West.

You'll be SHOCKED by how expensive key west is. It's also very touristy. There is fun shopping, culture, dancing (lots of gay clubs), and eating in Key West, it kind of depends on what you want.

Personally, I think Naples would be more romantic.

naples if u love beaches because u said u two loved beaches but if u want to relax go to the key west and they also have great bars and tropical foods that would be great i mean your not going to the beach all the time and it's not like key west's beaches are all that bad.

Shay
New Zealand!!! Trust me!

TropicSon
have been to both and Naples has much better beaches. Key West is kind of a weird town but has some interesting stuff going on. Now, for the money your going to spend for say 7days at either Key West or Naples, take a look at going to a Carribbean Island or Mexico........I bet you can find a cheaper deal for a Honeymoon you won't forget. Try www.cheapcarribbean.com and look for great deals.

Ned F
Go south of Naples to the Amalfi Coast ... maybe Positano or Sorrento, or Capri.

Naples is full of criminals. Go to southern Italy and tell them that Ned sent you.

NAPLES. Your going on your honeymoon... not Spring Break.

Naples. Honeymoons are about enjoying each other's company and relaxing. The beach is a perfect place to do that. Plus, it's probably GORGEOUS there! :D
