The Cloisters and Versailles Gardens on Paradise Island are spectacular to shoot, but there is beauty everywhere. From the architectures to the beautiful pristine beaches
If you have a photographers eye, you'll find great shots everywhere you go.

Downtown you'll find parliament, government house , Rawson Square. There's 3 forts, a botanical garden and a zoo. There's even a lighthouse as you enter the harbour.

Here's my friends website.. nearly all of these photos were taken in Nassau.

What a coincidence! I'm going in 11 days! If your there on the 26th, you've gotta see the Junkanoo festival. Also, you may want to check out the Cloisters, a 14th century French monastery. I've never been myself, so I couldn't tell you where to go for photo opportunities

Taking pics from the ship of the water is probably going to be the highest point you get or from the bridge connecting PI to NP.
Other places you might look at while in Nassau is Montagu or Dick's point, Goodmans Bay, for water shot.
The Eastern Rd. is really pretty, and would make some nice pics.
There are a couple of huge trees that may make a nice photo. One of them is on the Nassau side of the PI bridge. across the street, from the bridge going to PI. The other one is in front of the police station I believe on East Street. (not to be confused with Eastern Rd.)

Cable Beach is not very crowded, and they have a median that separates the one way traffics, that have some pretty foliage. Wyndham at Cable Beach also has a view that makes for some real classic pics.

Enjoy your stay, Maybe we'll get to see some pic's that you've taken.

the bahamas is not the prettiest place in the world, its very dirty and cramped and people drive like raving lunatics. They do a have a few nice beaches there, Atlantis has a nice one, but it is private only to paying guests so if you want to use it you have to book a room there (dont waste your time with the armband, that doesnt include the beach), Also...I think it was freeport that had a peir (of some sorts) that you can get out there and get good pics of the island. You really have to get away from the ships to see anything super. Check out what tours are available thru your cruise, a lot of them offer tours to beautiful private beaches that they own! Have a great time!
