curious!
I'd have to say Christmas (at least for me)

Yuh get pay early and somewhere outta de blue yuh forget to buy a couple of gifts! The curtains yuh buy since October ain't cutting it again and yuh goh put it in yuh bedroom and buy new drapes for the Living room.

Additionally -with the rising cost of food - I probably cyar buy meh three hams this year, but I must get meh drinks linned up! Or pray that dey parang de wrong house!!!!

Yuh see Christmas is months away, and ah broke already!

Buh wha de A..rse.....you getting pay in the middle ah Decemeber, hadda buy christmas grocery, gifts, curtains, paint, new couch, fix old thing, drinks, outfit for Christmas party(ies) etc... I fine the answer should have been Christmas myself. During Christmas yuh baking, painting, sewing , cooking and entertaining yuh guest. For Carnival my grandmother does still pack she cooler wit her food and drinks meh cousins does walk wit it fuh she. When she reach de Savannah she does pick out she spot and stay dey whole day and everybody going back and forth when dey hungry or thirsty. If yuh is a person who like to party I guess yuh would be broke come Wednesday...............

julien

Carnival for me is to make back dat paper so i does have $$ for carnival.
