Fantastic question Jouvert! I really had to think about this. I think I would like to spend the year in perfect happiness. I think if it was that perfect it would happen again. The chemistry, the feelings, the smells, tastes etc could be resurrected but maybe within new experiences. Great question!

This is weird ........ my girlfriend asked me the very same thing last night.
But no perfect happiness is being with the love of my life. Life for me would have no meaning if that meant being with her only for a year and not remembering it afterward, I need her for the rest of my life.

I don't think so because i believe somehow in your subconscious you will always be searching for something as close to the year and your may be always unfulfill.

sure I would, I would at least be able to experience it.

and if I could not be in it forever I don't think I would want to remember it.

I think i would rather not have any thing if i can,t remember it, because whats the point have having that year if you have no memory of it and any way how would you know you had one year of happiness if you can't remember. Also i am a great believer in life is what you make it, we all have our ups and downs, but the strange thing is that we all remember the bad times more than the happy times, but i think our life is mapped out for us its like a long journey and we don,t know what is around the corner, what will be will be , just be happy.

Sure I will forget the experience later but why not seize the opportunity to live happily when it is offered to you? I would definitely spend the entire year in happiness. I may not get to cherish the memory but at least I would be able to enjoy it for an entire year!

ill definitely want it becuz even if u dont remember it after, u will have those happy moments then, and u would be very contented if only for a little while

No I wouldn't...why waste a whole year doing something you really love and then can't remember.... I prefer to live in the near perfect life I can make and remember and treasure.

I would not do it. To be able to look back at things we
have experienced and accomplishments we have made
adds a sense of happiness to our lives. We get to enjoy
those memories because they are our own and no one
can take them away from us. So if I would not be able to
remember the experience I would not want that perfect
year of happiness.
