Puerto Ricans are just like Americans. Are there ways Americans can look more American? Maybe by dress. Or style. But why psysique? No. There's no such thing.

Every country on the western hemisphere has ethnic diversity. The only countries on this hemisphere that have people who can dignify their look to that place is the indigenous population. That's why when people say someone looks ''Mexican'' they're referring to the Aztec ancestry. In Puerto Rico, Cuba and all of the Caribbean there's not much indigenous ancestry. Most natives were killed initially upon the Spaniard's arrival. Or were mixed into. And well outpopulated.

So people in Puerto Rico are just like American's. Mostly just white and black people. Or a mix of the two. I wouldn't try to ask that question to too many people because they'll only give you Eurocentric answers because that's the mentality of Puerto Rico, America and pretty much all of the western world.

Puerto Ricans come in all different skin color and looks. You should be proud of your background and not try to be something you are not. If you really want to feel in your heart like a Puerto Rican, then you already are. Learn Spanish and say you are from PR and thats it. Puerto Ricans are proud of having African heritage blood in their families, we are part of your heritage already and we are so proud of it, like you should be proud of yourself. I dont know if you are latino or not because you didnt say were you are from, but were ever your family is from be happy with who you are.

Are you using Don Omar (William Omar LandrÃ³n) as a model for a puertorrican? Well, although he is puertorrican, just a small minority looks like him. To start remove the earings, leave them for girls.

LOL, Puerto Ricans can look like anything. Not all Latinos are light brown skin w/ good hair. Just tell people you're boricua and learn spanish. OR, just tell people that you are from either Brazil or Dominican Republic. I think there are more Afro-Latinos here than anywhere else.

But the best advice you can be given (you probably don't want to hear it) is to be happy w/ what ever you are. Some cultures will look at you and envy you.
