Resoirts on the Islands-PLEASE HELP!!!?
I am looking to stay on a Island this summer for my graduation present with my best friend but I have limits. I need a NICE resort thats not 1000 dollars a night but has a lot to do. I don't want to climb 10000 stairs to get to the beach and the room. I want a nice hotel resort where there are mountains and rainforest's and nice beaches with jet skiis, windsurfing, and anything else I want to do. if you can please help. be specific... give me websites... i will choose best answer Additional Details also, i dont want a resort with open windows... closed windows... i dont want bugs flying in while i sleep
My husband and I stayed at the Wyndham Sugar Bay all inclusive resort in St. Thomas. Great place. They have lots of activities, good food, drinks and right on the beach. I thought it was reasonable for what all you got. Good luck and have a good time.

That's a tough combination on St. Thomas. I can think of three resorts where the beach is practically right next to the hotel. One that I recommend is Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. Mostly because they have entertainment nightly and an all inclusive plan. The European Plan isn't all-inclusive but it's more affordable. Another hotel that's right on the beach is Emerald Beach Resort. It's actually pretty close to the airport so you could probably walk there if you wanted. It's a Best Western hotel. I didn't see any rates posted on the site, but you can visit it with the link below and request a quote. Right next door to Emerald Beach is a smaller hotel: the Island Beachcomber. The rates there are really affordable but it's more like a one or two star hotel. Sorry, there are only a couple "mountains" in St. Thomas and they're not very high. No rain forests either.
St. Croix does have a rain forest though. I'm not too familar with all the hotels on St. Croix though. I've linked a the Virgin Islands Hotel and Tourism Associaton website below as well for you to browse.
St. John offers a lot of what St. Thomas has without the hustle and bustle. St. John's hotels are much pricier though.

I would stay on the island of St John. Check out Gallows Point Resort. They are individually owned condos with fully equipped kitchens. It's walking didtance to Cruz Bay. Check the link below.
enjoy St John, it's paradise)
