Rihanna needs our support? |
As a Caribbean person I think Rihanna needs the support of her people at home.
As expert after expert in this field will tell us it is not an easy thing for the abused to simply walk away. Its much more complicated than that. There are issues of self esteem and wondering how much one is to blame etc etc.
Look at wonderful strong women like Whitney Houston and Tina Turner. They endured abuse for years.
One wonders though if there is something more at play here. Does Chris Brown have something on Rihanna? In the glitz of Hollywood life people sometimes get caught up doing stuff they would not normally do. I hope this is not the case but if it is Rihanna more than ever needs the support of her Caribbean people at this time.
Come home Rihanna. Take in some good Caribbean sun and let the Caribbean breezes ease your troubles away. |

I agree with you wholeheartedly and we do support her although some people might have their own opinions. Some people may be vex with her for going back with Chris. I know she love him for the mere fact that she did not want a restraining order place on him. It is not that she is a sucker for punishment although some may wonder why would she go back with him. Even he needs our love and I am sure is very sorry for what he has done. I hope that this changes him as he sees the ramifications of what he has done.
She knows she has a home here with people who love her and I am not condemning her for doing what she is doing. She has to know for herself.
Thanks for all your concern and I am sure that she knows that her Caribbean people are behind her.

As a Trinidadian and Caribbean person I have always taken pride in Rihanna's achievments.
I agree she needs to come home to the Caribbean (by herself) so that she could experience the love the Caribbean peoples have for her. I think this will give her the strength to do what she has to do. |

I am so sick of hearing about this Rihanna crap!!! So what she got her *** smack and bump up and bruised. Many women goes through physical abuse everyday. I'm not saying that it's ok all I'm saying is think media and everyone else is blowing this crap wayyyyyyyy out of proportion. Worry about your own lives and leave hers alone. |
