Should I allow my 15 year ld daughter to go topless on vacation?

In the United States we (the religious sect) think that nudity or being topless is wrong, evil,or the DEVIL. Around the rest of the world other nations just don't share our close minded attitude. If you are in the Caribbean and the resort you are going to be at allows women to go topless then go for it. Just when you get home don't tell your preacher about your trip or you will be ousted from your church. I personally don't see a thing in the world wrong with your daughter getting to experience that. We do have nude beaches in the united states and We have nudist colonies here also. Its only when people make being topless evil does it become EVIL. On European television some of the news broadcast are done in the nude by women. It's not Evil there only here in the United States. I say We just don't know everything.

Why does a 15 year old have to worry about having tan lines anyway? Nobody should be seeing her tanlines. She doesnt need to go topless.

No way! I would sit both your wife and daughter down and let them know how uncomfortable that would make you feel. I know that, as a male, I would stare. There'll no doubt be guys there with digital cameras. Ask your wife and daughter how they'd feel having one of those pictures circulated on the internet?

No way!!! Just asking for trouble! Your wife should consider the example she would be setting for your Daughter if she goes topless in front of her. Children mimic their parents.

If your wife is going topless, she can't very well expect your daughter not to do the same. I wouldn't let my daughter do it and the other things is, wouldn't you be uncomfortable seeing your daughter topless?

i would say no as well

not only because of all the other reasons

but its a part of there body thats not used to being in the sun and is more likely to result in them contracting skin cancer

I answer will be definitely noo. when i was that age i used to a naked beach with my parents. and they never allow myself to go naked too much pervert even in those places..concern about the tan line no problem. Tell her to use strapless bra.

If your wife wants no tan lines she can go to a tanning salon! Why on earth would you allow your 15 yr old daughter to do this? Tony is RIGHT. And as to those who espouse"European "standards...YOU and your family are not European! Are YOU going to parade around in one of those men's bikinis that look like a jock strap?

You are right to be cautious. I personally wouldn't want a daughter to be doing that at that age. But you will be at a resort in the Caribbean, and as long as your wife is under her supervision I guess it is your call. You don't want to be the villain, but you don't want creeps looking either. Very hard call, I guess you and your wife need to have a talk about it away from your daughter.

I recently got back from the caribbean and on the beach most women were topless and some kids, there was no one that i saw taking pictures it's all about what counrty u r form in u.s it's not a normal thing to c but in europe it's an every day thing and most people that are in the caribbean on vacation are form europe not the U.S, i also saw some kids topless but they were young saying all this i think that i would not have my daughter topless unless there were other girls around her age topless then it's ok other wise even if your wife is no one will look at her in the same way as a 15year old. as stated i have yet to c it at a resort most women u c topless are around mid twenties and up.

Yes, I think you should allow her to if she wants to. We in North America have unfortunately sexualized breasts. Why should it be okay for a man to go topless and not a woman? I am blessed to live in a place where the law has finally realized that women having their breasts covered at all times is a prejudicial law. It is therefore legal in Ontario for women and men to go topless. You don't see it very often, but my hope is that as generations pass more and more girls/women will feel comfortable enough to not be shamed into covering their breasts at all times.
