in a 3 star resort. Are the outlets the same down there? I have curl and I usually difuse my hair so I would need my universal difuser to fit on their blowdryers if mine wont work. |

Just relax and let your curls run free!! If you are on vacation, don't bother with the curl iron or hair dryer. Ask the hotel if they have a hairdryer in the bathroom, they usually do. Then relax and just have fun in the caribbean and forget about your hair! |

First are you coming from the States is the same power , but if you come from Europe youll need an adapter. And in Dominican Republic resort the have hair dryer and more things for the use of the customer. |

the other answers are correct, forget about your hair it will frizz no matter what you do.,You can wear it up at night. Have fun DR is a great vacation place. The electric is the same as the US. Use common sense while there. Use the buddy sytstem let your friends know where you are, be cautious around the guys. Just be careful if you go out of the resort area, it's best not to go alone. Have fun, but seriously don't do anything stupid |

The outlets are the same. When you're swimming at the beach and pool, it might annoying having to fix your hair every time, but if you want, you should first check the hotel's website to see if they have a blowdryer. They most likely do. They probably won't have a curling iron, though, so you could bring that. |

The resort will have those adapters you can use for your hair dryer and curling iron.
But honestly, when I go, I find that I end up wearing my hair just au naturel. because it's SO hot! |
