This is a good one. I dont know the man personally either like my friend here. I understand he was dread and is a legend in the crime fighting world (Trinidad). I understand he and the elite flying squad did not make joke. If you look back, crime has been on the rise in TNT just some years back. Is it that the police in TnT is now afraid of the police - unlike Burroughs?
So the question is - if dey did fraid the flyin' squad so bad; and it was working; why not bring one back - seriously. Couldn't the TNT police commissioner or the big man up there form a elite unit to fight crime?

well my dad was a member of tht infamous flying squad and de stories i have heard from him and my mum is truly shocking. however de flyin squad is de damn ting self for trinbago. i dont live there i m in england but visit v. often. this situation of crime in worldwide, bt for such a lil island it is too much. and if we can have an establishment to control by all means yes, even if the crime is stopped by fear. so yes bring back de flyin squad. but what the ppl hadda remember is de flying squad was bout sacrifice, professionalism and a means of confidentialilty, yuh donh want every tom jack dick and harrilal knowing who dey are and all dat.

Yes bring dem back, that's for dam!n sure! Bring dem back in full force and somebody please don't tell Martin Joseph cuz the fool in him would just come on TV and tell everyone. I swear that man is an imbecile! Let them blaze out everybody from Panday to Abu Bakr, to Laventille bad man. No criminal would be immune, once dem ketch yuh das it! But secrecy is the important thing and seeing as everybody know everybody business in this place dat go be real hard! Too much snitches, bun dem out too. Ppl must learn to hush dem mouth.

Yes definitely, however easier said than done. To get someone to fill his position will be problem # one. To get persons in the squad not to sell guns is problem # 2, and the list goes on, but if it can be done I say, "go for it".
