wha d hell? if you calling me bhaji...you sure as hell dont mean it "fondly". what you mean is that you dont think im good enough for you to think of me as a person. dam i would be offended.

but as julien said, they arent even worth getting angry with!! unfortunately we all have to live with this BS....even in this day and age!!! and sadly thy would think its CUTE to refer to someone like that! steupppppppppppppps.

I would try to care less about the term used and more about the context. If people call you bhaji in a mean way, then you should be offended, but if it's a term of endearment or just a way to describe you, don't take it personally.

For example, some black people prefer to be called African Americans, and some like to be called Black, some like "dark or brown skinned" some use less proper terms to describe themselves... I don't want to offend anyone, but I have to pick one of those terms if I'm describing a black person. Maybe that's just how they are describing you, not in a mean way, but just because that's the only way they know how.
