Stay at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas or at another hotel? |
My family and I visited Paradise Island in the Bahamas several years ago and stayed at the Comfort Suites which is right next to Atlantis and you're allowed full access to everything at the Atlantis. We plan on returning next spring and were considering staying at Atlantis. The Atlantis rooms are more obviously more expensive. Has anyone stayed there? Is it worth it to actually stay at Atlantis (convenience, room quality, etc.) or should we save our money and book at the Comfort Suites again? |

Comfort Suites would be the better choice especially if you can still get access to Atlantis. Atlantis is expensive, wouldn't you just want to save that extra money? |

I'd opt for the Comfort Suites. It's nice to get away from the crowds when you need a break. And it includes a continental breakfast.
As for room service.. Atlantis is lacking on that front. There service, in general is faulty and slow.
CS is just steps away from the Coral Towers Lobby. No need to pay high prices for run down rooms.. The Royal Towers and Cove are the only decent rooms .. and they are way overpriced.
Beach Towers and Coral Towers are nearly 40 years old .. (they used to be Britannia Towers and Loews hotel back in the day). They need to be torn down.. not refurbished.
Save your money and stay at the Comfort Suites.. It's a win-win for you. |

You can stay at the Beach Tower for about the same price as Comfort Suites. I think It's worth it to stay at the Atlantis just walking the halls and the room service but I wouldn't pay to stay in the Royal Tower. Don't forget to eat at Anthony's best food on the Island. |

I love really good room service which is what you will be missing at the Comfort Suites. That said, if you enjoyed yourself there the last time, stay there again.
Last time I was in Atlantis, I won $750 on the purple Barbie slot machine.

Comfort Suites, especially if you're allowed full access to everything at the Atlantis. You don't really spend much time in the room, so why pay more? |

I say stay at the Comfort Suites again, especially since you can have full privilege's at the Atlantis. I don't think it's worth the price at Atlantis, only convenient for casino, beach and excitement. Comfort Suites is clean and cheaper and more down to earth. Stay there and have fun. |
