alright.so smurfs was the sh*t.i kno bout 12 and under cuz i try out for d ting and get rejected...lol.i had a family member working ttt and i used to go to skool on maraval rd so when daddy aint pick u up and yuh liming with the security guard too damn long,walk down to ttt and wait!! lol.so when i was there (which was pretty often)i used to have to watch sesame street and thing and was feeling like a shilling in a 10 cents party cuz aunty hazel tell mih hi and i seeing the "big stars"
tv with knob?is it TMI if i tell allyuh i still have that one in my bedroom.my father doh see no prob with d ting so he dont want to throw it away.it at the edge of my bed so i does use my toes to change the station.in this day and age a big woman like me have a tv like that? well yes.
sewing machine with peddle?how yuh mean?we now sell ours the odder day.yuh actually believe somebody wanted to buy it?my mother get fed up looking for needles for the thing so now is pure seamstress we have to go by for jobs taht require more than hemming or a base stitch...lol
sorry to tell yuh but latrine still most alive in tt.i working with them statistics here and if i tell u some areas have like 45% ppl still using that toilet facility.in dis day and age ppl dont have outdoor plumbing
the only reason we phone no longer rotary is bcuz tstt give everybody new phone.if it was up to my parents,that wudda be starring in the living room.the only way the phone was changing was if we family from "farrin" bring/send one fuh we.
but yuh kno how hard it is to tief a call on one a dat?!?!? jah!! yuh bound to get catch either on the second to last number yuh dialling or by the time the person answer....lol

I used to love the tv show Electric Company. That's where Morgan Freeman got his start. Anybody remember that? And talking about ancient machines - I still have a typewriter at home. I doh have the heart to get rid of it. It was state of the art when I bought it and I had to pay it off in installments!!

Things have really changed since we were small yes. I remember when it was BIG ting to have a VHS in your house. Compu who?? Inter what ?? When you wanted to talk to someone you CALLED them. E who? We had rotary dial phone (yuh ever try using dat when yuh finger buss up?? pressssssahh!!) and jooking board, OH and remember the windows that used to crank open?? LOL LOL

A real sign of the times for me was when I was telling my 14 year old something about an album and he had no idea what I was talking about!! Then I realize all he knows is CDs. That was scary. 14 years doh seem like no time at all to me. It makes you wonder what the next 14 years will bring.

All of our technology now will be "remember whens" to our children TS :-)

All yuh good yes! All yuh showing off how all yuh had color TV and getting pink and all other colors when all yuh want.

We had a black and white TV and yuh had to put a color plastic screen over it to believe yuh watching color.

Well is ah long time I a'int see ah out-house and I hope I doh have to introduce my chile to dat sh!t...PUN D River!!!!

I was askin my friends and them the other day about fraggle rock and nobody knew wat i was talkin about. Turns out fraggle rock was much older than we days (my aunt used to watch it too when she was younger) and we only used to get to c it in trinidad becuz ttt rerun everything. LOL. but if u go on youtube u could find the episodes.

Yes I remember the tv with the knobs. I was the remote for a long time . I def remember the outhouse( i absolutely refused to use it). My grandmother had the sewing machine wit the peddles and the rotary phone.

back then tv used to sign offin the night( meh mother tell meh dat)
