My friends and I are traveling to PR in a few months and I was wondering what types of places we could go during the night. We are going to be staying at a hotel near Condado beach. I'm looking for great nightlife in that area. I know that there's a bus in the area, but I'm not sure if it runs all night & I don't think I want to spend money on a taxi every night that I'm there (I would rather not hang out at a hotel instead I'd like to go to a hotspot). I would appreciate any ideas or even ideas to do while were there. Thanx.

No buses don't run 24 hours in Puerto Rico...They have Tourist taxis which have Flat rates to many spots in the San Juan/Carolina area. check www.gotopuertorico.com www.welcome.topuertorico.org |

Well, the Old San Juan has some of the best clubs of the area. However, if you want to strain from the crowds and tourists alike, go to the South -Ponce, perhaps- or even better, go to Mayaguez. They have great clubs there. You can also go to the beaches -as long as they are not closed or private- they are opened to anyone willing to go at night. You can even camp for the night in one. |

from condado just go to old san juan, its next door. at night u may have to take a taxi from condado to old san juan, but its not expensive because its next door, but i wouldnt recommend u walk at night to get from one place to the other. in old san juan there its nightlife all night, and u can walk the city from one club to the other, just stay away from la perla. as long as u stay in the nice crowded spots at night ur fine. at day time u can walk anywhere in the island. |

buses don't run all night, but Condado has a great nightlife plus it is really close to San Juan so taxis shouldn't be too expensive. You can go to "La Terraza" which is right in the middle of Condado, it's a kind of terrace with a bar and a nice place to chill and drink outside. Lupi's is also in Condado. It is a restaurant and at night they have parties. A bit small but it has good music and a nice crowd. Logan's Irish Pub and Shannan's have great parties. If you want a more kind of tourists crowd, BRAVA and Senor Frogs are good choices. There's also La Ventana in Condado, which is a bar in front of the beach, very nice at night. In San Juan, just walking around you will find something to do, there are a lot of bars with great music and even karaokes. There's Milk, Basilico, The Noise, Jara's which are more club scenes and then Maria's, Brickhouse and basically everything you can see while walking around San Sebastian st. are bars with music and pool tables. During the day I would definitely go to El Morro and fly kites, Hacienda Carabali if you want to go horseback riding, Plaza las Americas (biggest shopping mall in the island which also has Galaxy Lanes, bowling alley that turns into a kind of "club" at night with bowling, music and beer).....hope it was helpful. Have a great time!! party it up!!! |

You need to go to BRAVA in the San Juan Hotel & Casino in Isla Verde. It's a great club. A good place for turists (in the Viejo San Juan area) is Senor Frog's. Another place I would strongly recommend is Shanan's Pub (in Guaynabo city). This is a sport bar and many locals love it. You will use the taxi services. We don't have 24 hour public transportation. I hope you enjoy your vacations! |
