The ships are filled with things like food (of course), music, dancing, jogging tracks, basketball, ping pong, etc etc etc. When you get to Grand Cayman, see if there is still an excursion that takes you to "Hell". It is an eiree site what coral looks like when the water receeds. Get a T-shirt that says, "I went to Hell and ....." there are a few endings like "and survived" and "and returned".
Grand Cayman is also one of the islands meantioned all the time in tv movies as the island where people's money seems to wind up. Well, you'll see why - there is a bank at every turn! Big things too! Get a calendar while your there. Then you can spend a year remembering what you saw.
In Cozumel be ready to shop until your feet fall off! Go to Los Cinco Soles, which is a great shop with tons of stuff to buy and they are known for quality. Also, while you are there, whether you play chess or not, get an onyx chess set there. The price of onyx is unmatchable and the set is valuable. I got a white onyx one trip and black the next.
If you are interested in history, they do have a program not far from the store and you can see in costume and music, the history of the mexican culture and how the indians influenced much.
Best of all, ENJOY

Sting Ray City at Grand Cayman is one of the best excursions in the entire Caribbean. We went there with our three kids. Highly recommended.

Dunn's River Falls is another top 10 Caribbean excursion. You might be able to visit it when you go to Montego Bay. I think the ride is about an hour each way, but we have gone much farther than an hour to get to excursions, and they always have been worth it.

Cozumel is known for snorkeling and Mayan ruins.

In MoBay, be sure you do a ship's excursion, if you decide to leave the ship at all. Jamaica isn't the safest cruise stop, especially MoBay.

Cayman and Coz are both easy and safe to do on your own, IF you make sure you get back to the ship on time [they won't wait for you if you're late unless you're on a ship's excursion]. Especially important in Cayman, as it's a tender port.

Do a search on "Grand Cayman" and you'll find some websites that will give you an idea of what's available there. You'll probably want to swim with the stingrays - lots of fun and perfectly safe. Captain Marvin and Nativeway are both reliable companies - I've used both and preferred the latter, because the excursion we did also went to Rum Point [WOW!]. But on that one we just did make it back to the last tender in time! They both have websites, I believe.

In Coz, you can get a cab down to any of the beaches south of town. Two nice ones are Chankanaab Park [website] and Paradise Beach. Everyone has their favorite - there are several others. We've returned to Chank because it's so beautiful - even more so, I hear, since being rebuilt after Wilma. Websites for Coz: cozumelinsider.com and cozumelmycozumel.com.

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Ports of Call" to find lots of reliable info from experienced cruisers.

Have a great cruise!!

Well I went on a cruise myself last year to alaska, and the 1st day out on sea was a doosey. take along some Dramamine.
You will get a little sea sick. But once you get your sea legs...
hit the casino.. I did. I had fun,but lost a lot too...he!
There should be shows on the cruise boat and sometimes they let you participate in them. They give out a activity plan for the hole cruise so you pretty much know whats going to happen every night and you can plan for your day time excurtions and your nightime fun.
Have a blast! I think in Cozumel you can swim with the dolfins.
