I am going to Nassau and to Freeport in a couple of weeks and i will only be in each place for a day. I was wondering if anyone has been there, and if the know of anything that i must do while i am there.

Depends on what you like to do... you can dive or snorkel with sharks with Stuart Cove (www.stuartcove.com). Snorkel the reefs off a private island with Seahorse or Flying Cloud (www.flyingcloud.info), Spend the day at a private island with sharks and stingrays via www.powerboatadventures.com, play with the dolphins at www.dolphinencoutners.com, enjoy a historic tour to Fort Fincastle and Fort Charlotte, including the queens staircase.
Check out the Pirates Museum, Slave Museum or Ardastra Zoo's Marching Flamingos, grab an authentic meal at the Bahamian Kitchen or Araway Cay's Fish Fry, hop on the booze cruise for an afternoon of rum and sunshine. DJ and Limbo contest on board... and lots more.

Forget about Atlantis.. it's a vegas style hotel with a waterpark that will run you $150 pp - you can see that back in the states for $30.

In Nassau, take a cab over to the Atlantis on Paradise Island. It is a huge property and worth seeing.

i don't know about Freeport but i can help you with Nassau I'm from Nassau first you have to go downtown and shop ( don't miss the straw market) then you have to get a $4 dollar cup of daiquiri then go over paradise island do whatever you want then walk down by the dock and get some conch salad then go to the Mall at Marathon and make sure go to all the forts and enjoy the beaches and wants you go to those places the rest of the day would be over.

Have a good time. ; )
