Thinking of going to Jamaica in early November. Is the weather o.k. or is it still hurricane season?

The season ends before November, so you should be ok, however, in 2005, there was still hurricane activity in December. I would suggest getting refundable tickets, just in case. Also, watch this hurricane season, if there are still a lot of storms in October, then you might want to delay your trip.

the weather will be ok.sunny and hot,but not as hot as in july-august as those are the summer months which are the hottest times of the year.
november is the last month of hurricane season,as the others said above hurricane season begins1st june to 30th november with september, october and november being the most activate part of the season.

You should go for it , the hurricane season usually starts late August through about the end of September, but you should be fine.

It will still be a hurricane season until november 30th
Just pay attention to the weather cast

It is still hurricane season but at the end of it so you should be fine. The major hurricanes hit this time of year (thus the reason I chose to go there on Sept. 13th LOL). I think you will have no problem at all.

If you decide to go and don't yet have accommodations, have a look at this site:

Hurricane season runs from about June to about November 30th, so it would definitely still be hurricane season. However, traditionally, much of the activity generally takes place around July-September.

It is still hurricane season but the seson sort of ends in october in terms of high actiity. November is not a rainy month here... the time is getting cooleer so fewer systems will develop and even of they do they will not be hurricanes or anything powerful...
