TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
Man, I have a four pack in the closet right now that we bought on our stop in Grand Cayman this past December. Its gonna have to last us a while because we will not get back there again until next December. If we get lucky we may be able to buy some more in the duty free shop on our next cruise.

The first stop when you get to Cayman is gotta be Tortuga to sample all of the cake flavors, and have you tried the Tortuga Cream rum, without the cake?? That's bumping too!!!

Everybody here thus far gets a thumbs UP!!!

Absolutely!!! My wife and I spent a week there on a shoestring budget and basically lived off the stuff. It was awesome going the buying a fresh tray straight out of the oven. Love the Tortuga, it's the #1 gift we give for Christmas.

I can taste it in my mouth's memory. When I lived in Cayman it was some time before I could shed the habit of helping myself to those little samples of Tortuga rum cake and I remember the flavours now. I liked coffee best...or mango...or chocolate...or coconut....or original...or whatever was going! Eventually one gets a bit sated of all that sweet stuff. After Hurricane Ivan production moved to Florida. Which brings me to my own unsatisfied craving: Grace's beans with sausages. We lived off them after Ivan, together with Jamaican ginger beer. I've never been able to get hold of either of them elsewhere!

I live and work about 2 mile from that factory.

I have to keep myself from eating them all the time. My wife just went back to the states this morning with 5 of them in her suitcase.

kerry
I love them also. We order them at least once a year for our birthdays! Try http://www.tortugarumcakes.com
They really are good!
