If you are a us citizen with no cuban relatives your best way is going tru another country ( and yes there are charter flight from US , miami, to Havana and Holguin )
You need to go either tru Mexico , cancun, or Bahamas, Jamaica, or any other country in the area to travel then to Cuba , while there you will not be stamped your passport.
Cuban born and with close relatives over there can travel directly but with a permit from the Deprtmt of Treassury and only every 3 years for 2 weeks...

YES THEY are FLIGHTS from the USA from JFK or Miami.
THE ONLY way to fly from the USA to CUBA you need a permission from the USA to qualify for this permission you must have sisters or brothers, or parents alive in cuba, your permission will be granted for 2 weeks.
If you dont have family then you could fly from CANCUN, CANADA, UK,
IN CUBA they would not STAMP your AMERICAN PASSPORT don't worry.

There are no direct air flights between Cuba and the US because of the embargo . It's illegal for a US citizen to travel to Cuba. You need a license check the governmental website
http://www.treas.gov . Some US citizens travel illegal to Cuba via Cancun Mexico or Toronto Canada, but watch out you can be fined up to 1,000,000.00 US$.

As they say, to use the direct flights (and there several flights a day between Miami and Havana, let alone other cities), US residents need an OFAC licence, whilst Cuban residents needs a visa from the US interests section.

Otherwise, go via a third country:

The Shadow
There are no commercial flights between the U.S. and Cuba due to the U.S. government embargo on Cuba.

It is possible to get there from Mexico and Canada. However, you are violating the law if you are a U.S. citizen unless you have permission from the U.S. State Department. Licenses are granted only for limited reasons. Tourism is not one of them.

You can read more about the restrictions at http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1097.html

If you live near a Canadian city there are flights and lots of packages to Cuba. Cuba does not stamp passports of arriving tourists. For prices check selloffvacations.com

JULI I
hallo,
hope these tips will help you.
The following goods may be taken into Cuba by persons aged 18 years and over without incurring customs duty:
200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco; three bottles of alcoholic beverages; gifts up to a value of US$50 (articles up to US$200 will be subject to customs duty payments); 10kg of medicines.
Prohibited:
Natural fruits, seeds, beans or vegetables; meat and dairy products; weapons and ammunition; video cassettes and household appliances; all pornographic material and drugs.
Food drink: Mains water is chlorinated and, whilst relatively safe, may cause mild abdominal upsets. Bottled water is available and is advised for the first few weeks of stay. Milk is pasteurized and dairy products are safe for consumption. Local meat, poultry, seafoods and fruit are generally considered safe to eat.
Other risks: Hepatitis A has been reported in the northern Caribbean Islands, and immunoglobin is not always readily available. Human fascioliasis is endemic. Dengue fever may occur in the area as well as outbreaks of dengue haemorrhagic fever and meningitis, particularly in urban areas such as Havana.
Rabies is present. For those at high risk, vaccination should be considered. If you are bitten, seek medical advice without delay. For more information, consult the Health appendix.
Health care: Cuba's medical services are very good and some emergency treatment may be available to visitors at no cost. However, health insurance is necessary, as foreigners must pay most of their own health care costs. Some hospitals may ask for proof of ability to pay for treatment prior to receiving sufficient medical attention.
In many countries around the world, counterfeit and pirated goods are widely available. Transactions involving such products are illegal and bringing them back to the United States may result in forfeitures and/or fines. A current list of those countries with serious problems in this regard can be found here.

Drop your US citizenship, find another country that will take you in, and fly from there.

I still heart fugin
There is no planes that go from the u.s to cuba.

You will have to ether go to cancun, mexico and then take a boat, or plane to cuba

Or you can go to puerto rico, then to cuba
