Traveling to Puerto Rico in December/Christmas events?

Hi,
We are going during the first week in December and was wondering if there are any special Christmas things going on down there. Light shows, carnivals, shows, things like that. Thanks so much for any help. We're going with our two kids, 11 and 13.

well your going on the first week....there's not that much to do in that time.. you should come in January Puerto Ricans celebrate more ''Reyes"(january 6) than christmas ALL latin americans celebrate REYES or maybe december 24 till new year

well you should stay in "viejo" San Jan at night theres a lot of parties and festivals and you should pick a day to go to Ponce to this place call "la Guancha" a lot of music ,party by the bay is really fun =D

the days are really pretty in december sunny but not to hat like in the summer unless you have bad luck and is raining =s

hope this helps
have a good day.
