Traveling to Puerto Rico is a Domestic trip or an International trip?

If Im traveling from the USA

It depend the airline you choose, I traveled with American airlines a(from NY to PR)and had to book my flight as an international trip, on another occasion I traveled by United ( Chicago to San Juan) and it was booked as Domestic. The safest way is to ask your airline before you book it.

Domestic in a a Foreign sense. Air space is controlled by the US but Puerto Rico has it's own government and constitution.

If your traveling from U.S.A. or U.S property is a doestic trip but if you're doing it from other places it will be considered a International one. Since P.R. belongs to the U.S is like traveling to another state. Hope it helps!

Domestic !!!

I would think domestic....since puerto rico is a possession of the US...the inhabitants are technically citizens..though they dont have representation in the federal govt...they can still serve in the military etc....I dont believe that it could be considered an international trip.

its domestic cuz Puerto Rico is a United States commonwealth. That makes it a part of the US.
