Trini posse.. Anyone know anything about a root canal??

Firstly, you need to take some sort of anti inflammatory analgesic, such as Advil. Start with a 800 mg dose and take that every four to six hours.
Secondly, have you already started the root canal? Has the dentist removed the pulp of the tooth? If not and you are in pain, get to a dentist ASAP. If your dentist tells you that you have to wait a month and you are in pain, find another dentist. If the tooth is abscessed, waiting a month could be fatal.
Having a root canal is not as bad as you may think and even the first step (called a pulpotomy) will take care of the pain. Trust me on this one.

take ah shot ah puncheon like ah tru trini in dey and done wit d whole damn story...lol...use orajel or tylenol extra strenght...and lots of listerine...incase of infection...sumbodi also tell meh that cheese does help...some ingredient in it....jus rub it around the area...........posse if dis sound schupid...trinisam (meh bonehead brother tell meh so...if n e thing go rong blame he...if it wok...thank me ;)

ok, everything dey said, but seriously, if you have an abcess, get to your dentist immediately. Dont wait.
every tru trini knows that puncheon does solve all problems, throw some puncheon on d tooth, and leave it dey. and cheese DOES actually work. it does work for babies, so why not adults? rub the cheese on the gum, it helps the pain.

ah eh say put no dam cheese, doh do dat, it will worsen it.

use pain relivers, and find another dentist, or at leas ask ur current one why wait so long? if you wait, it might worsen.

oh an try Anbesol, its a liquid that u apply to ur gum, teeth, etc. and it makes it numb to relieve pain. I use it for tooth achs, after they pulled thooth, and wen they tighten braces, it works really good for mouth pains

Tylonol 3 have your dentist give you perscription for this. Trust meh I know I had one done this weekend.

i agree wit miss liz ah shot ah rum ,i can swear by it cause i had de same prob,wit de teeth and de dentist ,if u dont want to drink just soak ah peice of cotton an place it on de teeth

Try gargling with hydrogen peroxide. DON'T SWALLOW!!! It will kill the bacteria in your mouth and maybe take away some of the pain. Good luck!
