I've been there; I'm from there.
Trinidad is the twin island sister of Tobago. They have a twin island government with a population of about 1.3 mil. Trinidad is in the Caribbean and its population is very mixed as it relates to the standard of living and even in races of people -- all up in one. Trinidad depends on the revenue from producing refining and exporting oil/products. Trinidad produces the best carnival in the world. The people are very friendly and Trinidad is the place to lime. |

Trinidad is one of the most cosmopolitian islands in the Caribbean and generally has a number of tourists visiting the beaches and other attractions each year (Carnival, parties, etc).
