Well i was born and still live in Barbados. And for the person who said about kidnapping no we dont kidnap people. It is a very safe place. you don't have to worry about not enjoying yourself because you will and they are no areas in Babrados that you cannot visit. P.s the people here are very friendly, you might just have someone taking where you want to go if you just ask for directions.

i actully felt safer there than in my own county (uk)

most of those other people ain't know what dem talking bout Barbados is a very safe place if there r any places that u might b a little cautious of is the Pine St Michael.there is absolutely nothing to fear tho it is one of the most safest places in the Caribbean

Hey you wont get a yes from people saying there is but from someone whos mum lives over there. Yes there is but you firstly need to work out where you are going over there There is a black white issue there.I am white with 5 kids my father in law in white bajan and hey its not advisable to go out late if your going on your own.Some places in Bridgetown are supposed to be off limits to whites but we just kept a low profile U WILL STAND OUT. St Lawerance Gap is nice but again you need to be careful where ever you are going and at what time. I stayed out there for 6 weeks in summer hols in a beach house I loved it so did the kids but they soon relaised when to get off the beach and how quickly. we where burgaled 5 times so just because you have grates use the door and shutters. If you are hiring a car DO NOT wave thank you use the horn hand gensture r offensive and the garrison at night is RED LIGHT district he he not sure bout top end of the island sorry anything else please ask cause you dont get an answer from a tourist guide.
We are going back it just expensive and always haggle everything.

BARBADOS....all of BARBADOS u might get kidnapped...it is an unfamiliar country watch out now
