Water Parks in The Dominican Republic?

Hi my boyfriend, myself and another couple are going to punta cana in october and just wondered if anyone knew if there was a water park nearby?

In Punta Cana? NO!. The only one and for me also the best in this region is located in Cofresi, near Puerto Plata named
OCEAN WORLD. In Punta Cana there is nothing to do outside the hotels, the town is 39 miles away.

There´s no water park yet in Punta Cana. The water park are in Santiago and Puerto Plata area.

No water parks in Punta Cana, Ocean World is in Cofresi, Puerto Plata, it's not really a water park as it is more of an animal / wildlife park, there certainly aren't any waterslides, wave pools etc. but you can swim with a dolphin or even better do the Dolphin Dive, I did it last week and was totally awsome, even if you are not a certified diver as they will teach you the basics before you go into the pool with the dolphin and a trainer, we spent 40 minutes under the water with the dolphin and in my view it is far less 'cruel' than the dolphin swim / encounter where the dolphins have to perform more, by being under the water with them you are in their enviroment totally.

Most of the tour operators will be able to organise a day trip to the north coast from the south, more often than not by plane as it's a good 8 hour drive on some hideous roads !

Hi we went a few years back now stayed on the north side of dominica and they do a stay trip to the aqua park believe it was on about 12 dollars each try to be careful what trips you take as alot of them are not worth the money but fab place to visit have a great time..

I don't think there is but there is this place called Ocean World where you can do dolphin encounters or you can swim with them.
I had a great day there...I would definitely go again!

There's a place called the beach... there's waves and stuff... it's really nice!
