We went to PR last July and it was hot and humid. It was fun, though, so don't let that stop you. Just drink lots of water (and don't forget to have some rum too!). We didn't have any issues with the weather, it was cloudy most afternoons but that's just how things work down there.

You do NOT need a passport to go to/from PR if you're a US citizen and you're departing from and returning to the US, since it's a US territory.

Terrible in what aspect. Did you mean Hot or you are worried about hurricane seasons. Temperatures will be around 90+ but Puerto Rico is very humid. Hurricanes well for that we have to see weather channel and stay in touch of development. But weather generally is sunny and hot.

hurricane season gets good in the end of july and all the way until november, but you don't have to worry about that because if a hurricane hits Puerto Rico is going to be something normal and if something happens your hotel is going to take care of it you don't have to worry about some sort of massive disaster hitting the island cuz most of the summer hurricanes don't pass by PR and if they do your going to be alright cuz they already know how to deal with that kind of things. and to make you feel better i am puertorican and i am going in june and november . if you go don't waste your vacation in san juan theres better places.

What do you mean??? We are in the Caribbean, although we have a nice summery weather all year, July is summer time. It,s when more beautiful the beaches are and you can enjoy great sunsets. There's nothing terrible about it. Just pack some good suntan lotion and enjoy. To answer the passport question, if you're a US citizen you don't need it. We are a Commonwealth of the USA. So welcome to the Enchanted Island. Have fun!

The weather is always beautiful here! No snow is a plus. As far as July you should expect 90's and sunny..there is always the occasional rainshower but things improve very quickly here. As far as hurricanes, it is hard to tell but the most active time is usually September-November. Either way, you will enjoy your trip..the weather is never terrible. If a hurricane comes, do like everyone else: pop open a can of beer and enjoy the ride!

PS. PR is a territory of US and you don't need a passport just your state ID

If you're from Norway, the weather is horrible, otherwise is just hot and humid. About the passport you'll need to contact the State Dept. office, I been listening to news and something is cooking about reentering the lower 48's, you should check that before traveling.

You don't need a passport if you are a US citizen or permanent resident, just need a valid ID. And the weather is around 90's. Mostly all the hurricanes are formed in September, that's the most active month.

Hurricane season is around september.

July?... hot hot hot.... make sure to pack your bathing suits, sun dresses, shorts, mini skirts, etc.

If you are traveling to/from the US, you do not need passport to travel from Puerto Rico. If you are going to other islands (except Vieques and Culebra which are considered part of Puerto Rico), you will need one.

If you are looking for some cool stuff to do, you should try calling Venture Out Puerto Rico. They are friendly locals and they'll have some great suggestions for you.

They offer tours like horseback riding in the beach, kayaking the bio bay, ATVs, Snuba, Catamarans, and much more. They even offer transportation to and from the hotels in certain areas.

Some days it's HOT and HUMID and other days it's HUMID and HOT. Hurricaine season starts in earnest in late August and early September.

You DO KNOW that you will need a PASSPORT to re-enter the U.S. after June 1st... right?
