The Cayo's are absolutely beautiful in Cuba, we were there last year, hotels like the the Melia are fantastic, the beaches are out of this world and the ocean is to die for, its just so peaceful and totally relaxing, sheer bliss with not much else to do but relax and recharge your batteries, if you want a bit of nightlife then Varadero might be much better for you, still beautiful beaches for chilling on but much more to do in the evenings, Cuba is the most beautiful place with wonderful people, they take you into their heart and make your holiday even more special, I would be back there in the wink of an eye but have to wait until next year to go back, hope you have a fantastic time if you do go it really is a beautiful place.

Just flown back from Cuba - stayed at the Playa Coco on Cayo Coco, also stayed at the Melia Cayo Coco in February of this year (Lucky me). If you want total relaxation then the Cayos are for you - the Melia at Cayo Coco is adults only, the service and food is second to none, the gardens are beautiful and you would love it there. The Playa Coco is nice - it has its own secluded horseshoe beach - although the service and staff is good it is not as good as the Melia, but I found the beach was better at Playa Coco and the room overlooked the sea. Do not go to the Cayos if you like to wonder around and see things - the population of the Island is the tourists. To see Cuba - you have to go to the Mainland. They do excellent trips from the Hotels - and swimming with the dolphins is something else absolutely superb. They also cater for snorkelling and diving.

we went to playa pesquero two years running and have booked to go back next year - the hotel is called playa pesquero - you've got the best of both worlds a beautiful beach with a bar which also serves lunch. the hotel is fantastic staff are great too. some friends of ours stayed in a hotel in the town not far away and that looked good too. we would thoroughly recommend going.

Cuba boasts some of the cleanest beach areas in the world. Varadero Beach is one of the most popular vacation destinations. Many hotels for all different price ranges. You can find links to several travel agents as well as Cuban Hotel links at www.mycubafest.com

I would also suggest using the Havana-Rental link at that site to look for a nice house or apartment for your stay. Hotels in Cuba are nice but it is also very economical to have your own house for your stay.

We stayed at Breezes Jibacoa. Adults only. 1/2 way between Havana & Varadero.
Nice beach & great snorkeling.

my mother and i went in 1999. we stayed in Havana with family, so it wasnt like staying in a nice hotel with all the amenities. we lived like they did for 10 days. probably a reason why i wont go back there. my own family stole from me, because they were starving for new clothes and money. i didnt have anything to wear for 10 days but one pair of jeans, underwear, and sports bra. cant blame them though.
there is the havana hotel, right in the middle of everything. lots of shops and night clubs.

Varadero is the best place for a beach holiday. Its really geared up for that sort of holiday with the all inc hotels and a huge and really beautiful beach.

try silver-sands jamaica....you won't be dissapointed if you are looking for a nice beach holiday. private villa, cook/maid, private spa/pool, a/c, right on the beach, no "spring break crowd" of drunk kids. the hospitality is unbelievable and the beach is magnificent, and it's affordable. google silver sands vacation rentals.

Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean. Consisting of 7 islands it is an ever increasing popular tourist resort due to it's tropical climate, exciting nightlife, and a history dating back thousands of years. I have been there last year and it's wonderful

I suggest you visit http://www.paradisemalta.com to get a glimpse of this beauty

if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!
