We are thinking of going to Cancun?
we have never been before . the most important part of our vacations is a beautiful blue green water big sandy beach ! i have been reading travlers opinions on cancun hotels and they all say the hotels don't have much of a beach area does anyone know of hotels in cancun that have big beautiful not rocky or seeweed beach ? thank you for your help Additional Details going in october / november
Dreams Cancun has TWO of the nicest beaches on Cancun. They are located at the top of the hotel zone. Cancun is shaped like a 7 and they are in the corner. I love this resort, the water is gorgeous and the beach white sand. Great location, close to clubs and shopping.
One night a storm came and there was some seaweed in the water but it went out to sea in a couple of hours. The staff cleaned the beach.
The staff and food is great at Dreams. We stayed in the tower rooms and the views were absolutely awesome.

My husband and I honeymooned at the Palace moon resort in Cancun back in 2004. It was beautiful! The beach was gorgeous in August, don't know when you're planning on going, but anyway, Cancun has beautiful beaches, and the place we stayed at was all-inclusive, which was totally nice.

i heard people go there for the party night life, not so much for the beaches.

she said after dec. the price per person almost doubles.

I stayed at the moon palace on my honeymoon and it was absolutely beautiful - must say I could do without EVER seeing the airport in Cancun again.

I went to Mexico a few years ago. Very nice. I never did get to Cayman Islands but hear that it is wonderful, but expensive..
