We want to honeymoon in Jamaica, where should we go?

We want to stay at an all-inclusive resort. We don't need a lot of nightlife, but we do want enough activities available in case we get tired of relaxing.

We may be open to changing to a different island, please share any ideas you may have, thanks!

Don't stay at any of the Sandals.
Grand Lido is a nice resort.

St Lucia has some nice all-inclusives, it's a bit harder to get to, but very pretty once you're there.

Royal Hideaway on the Riviera Maya is a nice couples only resort, and that area is good for sightseeing (Mayan ruins, etc) if you get bored.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Jamaica 2 years ago. I wouldn't stay anywhere in Jamaica unless it was a Sandals resort. We stayed at the Royal Carribbean resort and it was a blast. There are plenty of things to do...plus they offer tours, and it's all inclusive. There were at least 5 different restuarants on location, and plenty of bars. Try the honeymoon suite also, it's only a $200 more...but you get so much more...stocked wet bar and more so you don't even have to leave the room if you don't want to, and free room service. And it's ocean front. It was a great trip...we can't wait to go back! Hope this helps!

Hey mmmpal I my self would do a Sandals Resort as they are awesome, and you do not have to worry about tipping at the resort, so you can just relax. we stayed at the Dunn's River Resort and it was super relaxing, we are going back next month. there is another Sandals called the Whitehouse out side of negril its brand new, and i have been hearing nothing but great reviews from it, be warned it is between an hour and half and two hours to the resorts if you do not stay in Montego Bay, its not bad gives you a chance to see the real Jamaica and not just the fancy resorts. also there is a resort out of I believe Mexico called the Rui or Riu can't remember but this resort allows kids. Couple's is another nice resort. check out this web site www.tripadvisor.com tons of pictures and reviews from people who have been there. not just the pictures the resorts want you to see.

COUPLES NEGRIL!!!! My husband and I went to Jamaica in 2005. We went to Couples Negril. We took an International flight to Montego Bay and then took a little hopper flight for $200.00 to Negril. The resort was all-inclusive and was absolutley wonderful. The food and all the rum drinks were out of this world. All the workers treated us like royalty. They had nightly entertainment (which we did not particpate much) and daily activities. We mostly relaxed in our hammock and layed on the beach. Although we did take glass bottom boat with a group of people and visited a bar, did some swimming, drank lots of rum and danced with the captain of the boat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Depending on budget the few Riu's are nice. there is a new one in Montego Bay and 2 in Negril. I've been to Jamaica 7/8 times and would go back today.

GRAND LIDO NEGRIL,
thats the place to go or couples negril, sandals negril is very nice too if you choose to stay in negril, montego bay, Breesess montego bay or Doctor's cave beach hotel or sandals montego bay

Curious
Try Trinidad and Tobago- more so Tobago, which is the more tourist part of the islands. Trinidad is also only 11km north of Venezuela, which is a great place to visit. Barbados is nice as well.

You should stay at the Ritz-Carlton. You can't get better than this. It has golf, and spa, the beach. Great dinning, on site and near by shopping. You will love this place. If you want to travel into the city - which you should be very careful. They will give you suggestions, or/and a guide to help you. Great hotel, absolute luxury.

St. Thomas is also fantastic - they have a ritz and a condo ritz thing.
