I'm looking to go to Jamaica in June or July but not too sure of where abouts i should go to. I'm a black british guy and easy to make friends. I will probably travel by myself because my mates dont have money to go there. What city do you recommend me to go to find lots of real jamaican parties? I love the jamaican whining parties and would like to see this in real life. If you recommend me a city, try recommend me a hostel or hotel near clubs or nightscene. Go to Negril from August 6 - 9. You will have the time of your life. You need to book ASAP though because very few rooms are left for that long weekend. |

I agree with last two answers...Negril is the spot to go. Lots of clubs including Jungle & Triple-x, plus its more touristy and friendlier than Kingston.
Negril is filled with hotels of different price ranges, so getting a place is no issue at all. |

Kingston would be the best place to go. The best nightclubs are in an area known as "New Kingston". There you have a choice of 5 hotels (Hilton Kingston, Jamaica Pegasus, Courtleigh Hotel & Suites, Knutsford Court and Spanish Court) in walking distance of three nightclubs. Asylum Nightclub, Quad (4 clubs in one venue, each offering a different genre of music), Pur (recently opened, very upscale, south beach feel). In terms of going to parties, there are some that are open to the public and there may be a drink inclusive cover charge, other than that you would have to be invited to go to private parties.
Kingston is definately party central, just know that there is not much "touristy" activities to do during the days, but then if you will be partying all night you will be sleeping all day! have fun.
