What's the best part of puerto rico to live in?

I know the answer here will be totally subjective, but I'd like to hear what people think are some of the nicest places and why? From city neighborhoods to rural towns or beaches. Let's hear some thoughts on the island's best spots and what makes them so great.

I will have to say that Fajardo is the best place to live cuz it is near to the beach. It is a town which is neither so crowded nor so calm. It is town which is relatively close to Carolina and San Juan which are two major cities. Therefore, I believe that is the best town to live since you have everything that you need plus some other nature attractive which I definitely love!!!

I love all of it. But I think the central area is very nice. Its very green with beautiful mountain views. Its calm & quiet & simple.

the west coast if u want tranquility.

the northern part (metro area, like bayamon , san juan ect.) if u like loud noises, horrible traffic jams and lots of people.

Fajardo... close to the Marina

Papi knows best
If your coming to take it easy, and enjoy a calmer life, the northwest coast definitely. It's got beautiful beaches, wonderful food, but hasn't been overtaken completely by tourism, like the rest of the Island. We live in Aguadilla, and love it. If you want the big city, check out the San Juan suburbs.
