What's the best way to find a cheap caribbean vacation? |
My mom and I want a chance to get away for about 5-7 nights. We'd love to do another cruise, but we know it's hard to find a cheap one. We've also looked at all-inclusive resorts, but those are pricey too. Does anyone have any tips as to where/what we should go/do? We'd love some ideas. Oh, and we plan on traveling during the week of Easter, as we think that weekend will be rather dead (not spring break, the week/weekend before it). Thanks! |

cheapcarribean.com
kayak.com
applevacations or funjet - check out the last minute deals
orbitz.com
travelocity.com
Always factor in the difference in cost between AI's and cruises
That credit card bill can add up fast on a cruise if your not disciplined
Before you actually book go to tripadivsor.com and check out pictures of the hotel and some decent trip reports
We go at least 3 times per year for relaxation and scuba and the above usually generate the best fares/hotel combos |

No I don't work for them but I have been traveling to the Carribbean and Mexico yearly for the past 16 years and found WWW.CheapCarribbean.com to be consistantly low priced. They also support you if run into issues. |

I would go on the internet and find the cheapest tickets to go on you cruise and to see what you want to do that is for fun. That is what I would do to find the cheapest tickets to go with you mom and to look to see the places that you want to look at and what you want to do for fun to. I have never been on a cruise and I would love to be able to go on one someday. That sounds like a lot of fun and I cannot wait to do something like that. I am saving up my money to go on one. Good luck on finding cheap tickets to go one your cruise and I hope that you will have fun on your cruise to. |

Well, it depends on what you want to be honest. In the caribbean all islands are completely different even if people think they are the same cause they have beautiful beaches (They're not) I live in Puerto Rico and PR to Cuba or Dominican Republic is completely different. If you want awesome views? You'll find it in any of them, but if we are talking about the language? Puerto Rico, Jamaica and those places are english speaking places as well. If you go to Aruba, Curacao you will find speaking people places but not all of them. The best is to just look around over the internet on cheap hotels and airfare. On the food and transportation do not worried, that's pretty cheap. It is also important to find an accesible island, for example.. if you're interested in going to another island while you're staying in the other then find one place in where you could do that for example Martinica etc. Just decide which island will fit you most and after that, I'm sure the airfare or hotels would be easy to find. |

Time share meetings are usually the way to go, but it's not always easy to find and you have to attend those annoying meetings.
LastMinuteTravel.com is offering a deal where they are letting you book a hotel anywhere in the world (including 5 star hotels) for $1/night. The only catch is that you have 15 mintues to do it (per day) and they don't tell you when these 15 minutes are taking place. From what I've gathered, it's sometime early morning (EST). I'm leaving a video in the source section that is supposed to provide clues relating to the video..
Even if you don't end up booking your hotel for $1/night, the LastMinuteTravel.com site does have very cheap rates (even more so than Priceline, Orbitz, and the other discount travel website). I booked a trip there once where on the hotel site website it was going for $350/night for a room and I got it on LastMinuteTravel.com for $175/night (exactly 50% off).
Hope this helps. |

well if your lookin for a cheap one it aint going to be all out experience...if you wanna have more fun go scuba diving or something then it will be expensive......if you want something cheap all you will get is a room and a free continental breakfast.....that is it......the best places to go if you want to have fun is jamaica puerto rico or the bahamas........(from my experiences) |
