There is a good sized Jewish population in Jamaica. It might be hard to find a store that sells Kosher foods. Go to a couple synagogues when you get here and ask.

Holidays are for a change. It is great fun when in Rome to eat what the Romans eat. It also helps with racial harmony. If everyone joined in with the culture and food where ever they are then the world would be a much happier place. Remember when the holy men wrote the religious scripts the world was a much smaller localised place and we did not have freezers to make all foods were kept safe and aircraft to travel the world and meet other peoples. These days they would probably have a commandment that all the faithful instal virus software on their PC. In fact is that what Bill Gates advises ? That's very frightening when you think of it. LOL
