There's plenty of water around Puerto Rico but I never heard anything about swimming with dolphins there.

However, with 500 years of history, world-famous musicians, and great dancing (the home of salsa), there's lots of other fun and interesting things to do there and I found much info on this page:

Bio bay's are located in a few different coast in the island, El yunque, Morro, vieques, culebra, el parque de botellas, taino reserves, camuy caves

puertorican beaches are so clean and beautiful, that if you like water activities, you're choosing the right spot. don't forget to bring skin protection, hats, sun glasses, etc, because the weather now is hot. also take advantage of a night at the beach with all its splendors! you might like to visit old San Juan, where you can feel the roots of the puertorican culture. there is a lot of places to visit. just ask for customer service at the airport once you arrive, and they will be more than glad to help you. and don't worry, they are bilingual! good luck n you trip.

I live here and there are places where you can go to swim, take boat rides, snorkeling, diving. It is all here for you and your family.

Lol. My fave thing to do there is shop.... but.... there are really good beaches for snorkelling and tons of really cool eco-tours. Old San Juan is wonderful... both for tours and shopping -smiles-.

Hi

As well as swimming and water stuff, consider a trip to El YUnque rainforest with a detour to Luquillo beach (check out the local food at the roadside kiosks at the beach).

Also, spend some time walking around Old San Juan; see El Morro, The Cathedral, San Juan Gate and Paseo La Princesa promenade.

Plenty of great restaurants to eat at in Isla Verde / Condado / Old San Juan.

Have fun
