Jamaican Rum Cocktail recipe:
2 oz Jamaican dark rum
3/4 oz lime juice
1 sugar
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Big Bamboo:
1 oz overproof rum, 1 oz light rum, 1/2 oz triple sec, 1 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz lime juice, 3/4 oz syrup.
Dirty Banana:
1 medium banana, 1 dash cream, 1 oz syrup, 1 1/2 oz Tia Maria.
Jamacian Kiss :
1 oz Tia Maria, 1 oz light rum, 1 TBLS cream.
Jamacian Rum Punch :
1 oz light rum, 1 oz over proof rum, 2 oz pineapple juice, 2 oz orange juice, 2 oz lime juice, red syrup to taste.
Negril Stinger :
1 oz gold rum, 1/2 oz Tia Maria.
No Problem :
1/2 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz fruit juice, 1 oz pineapple juice, 1 oz grapefruit juice, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz coconut rum, 3/4 oz creme de banana.
Purple Rain :
1 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao, 1 oz. fruit syrup and 1/2 oz. lime juice, add Grenadine if desired. Put in blender with ice. |

Rum is a way of life in Jamaica. On some of the booze cruises, they actually pour a shot over your back and massage it in. Not bad, for a slight sun-burn. I have to suspect that they do that, so everyone stinks when they disembark the boat. That makes other people say, "I want to be on that" |
