What are some good places in Jamaica for a day trip. I feel so ashamed don't know my own country?

It really depends on what you guys like.

A day at the beach followed by a nice dinner and/or club is a good idea. (There's no need to take girlfriends or families either.)

You could go to Negril - Kool Runnings Water Park.

You could do any of the Chukka activities. The ATV, Canopy and Great River Rafting tours are fun.

Dunn's River, Mayfield or YS Falls is a good trip. If you go to YS, you can leave early do Black River Safari first. When you're returning stop at Likkle Ochi and eat some delicious brown stew fish and okroes.

Or you can get up early, take a car and just drive. Stop along the way and do anything that tickles your fancy. Enjoy the simple, yet beautiful things that Jamaica and Jamaicans have to offer. Could be very interesting.

Where do you live would be the deciding factor? Do you drive? What do you want to see?
You can go to Dunn's Ri ver for a day trip , you can go rafting or you can spend the day in Irish Town or the Blue Mountains

A day trip with only a bunch of dudes? The only thing I can think of is when there is car/bike racing event or show. They usually stage dexterities (or at least they used to- not sure what's going on in motor sports these days) in Mo-bay. Not sure of the time, though, but these things should be well advertised. Also of course you know about drag racing at Vernam field. And there is Dover, of course, but you know that's mostly staged on public holidays. Other than that the only thing I can think of is going to a nightclub- night trip, instead of a day one, perhaps to a major night club in Ochi or Kingston- that should be fun! Other wise other things like the beach, etc. are better spent with family, or at least with all your girlfriends with you. That's my opinion, still. But car/bike racing events/shows for a guys-only group are a must - know that pretty cars and fast bikes attract girls for some strange reason. Some are intelligent, some are.....not, but most are very Hot.

Try paradisepath.com/Jamaica it will give you tours for day trips from each town in JA.

Now they have a comfortable tour bus(like a Greyhound) that does Montego Bay/Ochie and Kingston for only $25.00. They did not have this the other times I visited JA.

Okay if you are in Montego Bay you can definately think about the beach. There is this beach/ theme park called Aqua Sol, you should go check those out. They even have bumper car racing there.
