My sister and I went to Bermuda in Feb, and had so much fun. I would recomend going to St.George, it is a really cute town, try the bermuda rum cake, it's so good! Also visit the Crystal Caves (near st.george) aquarium and if you can go snorkeling, go! As for restaurants Coconut Rock is a great place, as well as Swizzle Inn. Feel free to ask the locals, they will be happy to help you. |

Hey!
Im 15 and live here in Bermuda and will gladly lend some advice :)
St. George's is a great place to jsut stroll around and its actually quite large so you can essentially "explore" St. George's. It has a multitude of beaches inculding Tobacco Bay (don't let the name throw you off its void of any tar :P) and just a short distance from that is Fort St. Catherine beach with Black Beards hide away perched on hill directly next to it. Its a restaurant and offers indoor and outdoor eating with excellent views :) St. George's also has a golf course, jet skiing in the town square which also has The White Horse Tavern which also is home to a jet skiing group :)
Across the water from St. George's is St. David's. Its a quiet, peaceful part of Bermuda and is really only houses and such but has a Clearwater Beach for a nice day and the Black Horse Tavern which is nestled directly on a small bay
The Ferry can be caught to Dockyard. The ferry ride is extremely relaxing and offers spectacular views of Bermuda of Bermuda from the sea, so remember your camera! The ferry can take you to Dockyard, a historic shipping yard in Bermuda which is home to a small art gallery, resraurants, a movie theatre, Dolphin quest (you get to swim and play with dolphins :) ) the expansive Maritime Museum, Snorkel and Snorkel Park...a wonderful modern beach. The maritime museum is actually outdoors and offers extremely informative exhibits. Dockyard is a must to see :)
Theres also Hamilton which has St. Peters church and that about it. If you need any more information your hotel will gladly help you out!
I hope i answered your question :):) |
