I would say Anguilla, it is a very small island, with the most beautiful deserted beaches, but the US & British Virgin Islands are also very nice |

I live on my boat in Antigua for about 7 months each year and love it. The recent murders were an aberration.. that kind of thing just DOES NOT HAPPEN. If you want to go somewhere REALLY dangerous, then go to Jamaica... they don't tell you about the crime on THAT island in the commercials.
Pick the BRITISH Islands to go to... if it's on the list of places to go listed on "Yahoo Travel" avoid them... too many AmeriKans. The really neat places in the Caribbean are places most AmeriKans don't know about, have never heard of and couldn't find on a map if their life depended on it. |

I went to Jamaica mon a few years ago and I LOVED IT!!!!
So cheap, people are so nice, some much to do, lovely beaches... just an amazing holiday overall.. When im older im gonna buy a house there... Ive heard its meant to be dangerous, but so is alot of places where everybody loves to go, e.g. new york! duh! |

Barbados, Jamaica, Tobago. If you plan to visit these places you will need to be conscious of your safety, especially at night. The West Indies as a whole is not as safe as it once was, as the recent murders in Antigua would suggest. |
