Catch the sights. Really you can go boating, kayaking etc at any sea/lake resort. You goal is to get/experience the things you can't get/experience anywhere else. Go and see the aquarium go on the slides etc check out the clubs and restaurants etc. Try the beach. Also see the Pirate Museum and visit Adastrra Gardens and the Caves. |

Check out the Snorkeling Reefs,
Have a Bahama Mama or Kalik (Local beer)
Try some Conch Fritters
Check out the straw market
Have a pina colada on the beach.
Check out a local band (perferably Rake and Scrape) at one of the bars/clubs in town.
Check out a Regatta or Family Festival (if one's going on at Fort Montague).
Take a historic tour of the forts, queens staircase, slave and pirates museums.
Take a sunset cruise on the harbour.
Sail the America's Cup Racing boats.
Swim with the dolphins
Feed the Stingrays
See the Cloisters
Have a drink (or 2 or 3) at Green Parrot on the Harbour.
Take a fast ferry to the out islands to check out the culture.
Picnic on a private island.
(*stay away from the cruiseship crowds at Senor Frogs and the whining kids at Atlantis pools.

Para Sailing, I went to Nassau 4 years ago and I really enjoyed, I traveled there by cruise ship and enjoyed the beaches, the bahama mamas, everything, I can't wait to go back! |

I recommend swimming with the dolphins. I did this back in march and will remember this for the rest of my life, it was an extremely awesome time. Also when you get into customs in Nassau. ask for Charlie, if you can find him ask him for the Grand Tour of Nassau. Believe me he is the best of the best for a tour of the city. |
