1.) Where a film called Jurassic park was filmed (the place is just outside of Puerto Plata).

2.) Theres a point in the Dominican Republic where wales meet and mate/breed (whatever word you use! lol).
This is something the Dominicans are very proud of (well everyone I have met - they don't seem to be on this website!).

These 2 places alone attract ALOT of visitors to DR

Do you mean popular places or historically famous?
I'm dominican and the most popular places here are Casa de Campo in Romana and maybe Cabarete or Punta Cana.
Historically famous are the colonial zone in santo domingo and the Faro a Colon or Chavon (Romana)

have you never heard of GOOGLE?.. you can go to GOOGLE and enter Dominican Republic and get EIGHTY MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSANDS hits (8,880,000)... and you can learn everything about the DR you could ever want to know.

GOOGLE is for doing serious RESEARCH.. while answer is for asking stupid, moronic questions that get stupid moronic answers... and for people who are either too STUPID or too LAZY to use GOOGLE.
