What city should we vacation in Jamaica?

Negril! Spring break is great in Negril. Plenty of things to do and parties.. I don't think Sandals would be a good place for you all though, as it's typically for couples wanting a romantic getaway.. Not the party crowd.. Check out the Grand Pineapple beach resort as that is a moderate priced All inclusive under the Sandals umbrella. It's also very close to all the clubs and bars. No movie theaters in Negril though. There is one in Mo Bay but your on vacation.. Have fun being out and about. The beach is beautiful, and you can do a short day trip up to Mayfield Falls..

Jamaica is not more danger than anywhere else in the world so safety shouldn't be an issue especially if ya'll staying in a hotel, safety is the last thing you should worry about but anyway enjoy your time oh and passing through passa passa dance Wednesday night in Kingston would really make ya'll enjoy ya'll time in Jamaica

You all sound VERY well travelled. I woudl suggest going to Negril. There is quite a bit of partying and variety there, especially during Spring Break.

As a bonus, plan your trip so that you can all charter a tourbus to carry you to passa passa in downtown kingston on wednesday night.

Truthfully, based on your experiences, i would say that negril doesnt generally have special risks to your health or safety. Your primary risks would be the same as ANYWHERE that you have lots parties and young folk get on (some being excess with the drinking). Being responsible will get you a far way.

First off Sandals is a couples only resort. It's more for romance and honeymoons and not for singles.

I think you should look at some other resort selections in Jamaica that would be better for what you are looking for. If you are looking for all-inclusives then definitely look at Grand Pineapple Beach in Negril.

Negril has nightlife and the beautiful famous 7-mile beach.

In Ocho Rios a good choice would be Riu Resort Ocho Rios. The beach area is much smaller in Ocho. There are some great excursions in Ocho such as the Canopy Tour and Dunn's River Falls.

First of all, I don't think it would be safe for teenagers to go there by themselves without an adult. If that is the case, your parents are in dire need of parenting skills. Jamaica is very different than the USA and the people are very poor there. Meaning that there is alot of crime and dangerous areas. There is way too much trouble for teens to get into ( mostly because of immaturity and the thinking that nothing can happen to them )
Secondly, if you will be traveling with an adult stay in Ocho Rios. There is alot to do as far as nature and beach go. But, that is true with Negril also. I'm going by personal expierence.
